View Full Version : Next Gen Leon MPV -piccy here!!!!
found this over on another forum
http://www.autoweek.nl/forum/read.php?f=12&i=17820&t=17666
This appears to be a scale model (clay perhaps) of the next gen Leon MPV. Lets hope this isnt actually the Leon replacement
There is another thread here,
http://www.autoweek.nl/forum/read.php?f=12&i=21427&t=21427
in which Auto Bild (Germany's Auto express) have photoshopped a couple of images and a plan view of the model.
I dont know if its legit, but it kind off looks like it could be.
As an Mini/Midi MPV its not bad, just hope the direct Leon replacement will look,,,ummm a bit more sleek and sporty
Note: I havent posted pictures here to protect any copyright issues, if you find something, please do the same.
side view also on the second link
The VW MPV on the same platform has already been announced.

I'm not liking the look of those images from the front.. looks like someones stuck a screwdriver up it's @rse :(
Interesting how they have tried to sculpt the bodywork along the sides of the vehicle. Unsure as to the height - Zafira anyone....?
Them clay models look like they are for wind tunnel testing, just before they go to a 3/4 size mock up or something! :(
yes I reckon Zafaria sort of height. Thats about as low as you can go while keeping the MPV function I think
Do I not like the side view...
Ahhhh AndyB - Your rocking !!!!! (Steal my thunder!)
Can any of our german collegues or Swedish do a translate for us from the Auto Bild site.... (may drop Mike Penny c/o Auto Express a line tomorrow....)

Thank god I haven’t got any kids, otherwise I would have to consider things like this
Awaiting Mike Pennys comments, if he has any I will of course post them here...

Before i bought my leon, i searched for pics of the new golf and it looked a very similar size and shape, i presume it'll be the same floorpan again? If so, i think it'll probably be something similar to the Pug 307. Possibly one of these half MPV, half hatch type thingys?
Just picked up my Leon Cupra on Monday and oh my god, how difficult is it not to carry on past 4000 rpm?! Can't wait until it's run in and also so as it stops raining! The traction control doesn't like it when it's wet i have found - as soon as the turbo comes in, it has it's work cut out.
