I've decided I want an MP3 player for my Leon.
The thing is I don't really want to get one that has a removable face.
Can anyone recommend a decent head unit that hides itself?
I know kenwood used to do a stealth, but do they still?
I have had a quick search on kenwood's site and they seem to be all removeable panels, plus I've always preffered pioneers.
Between £300 and £500 would be great.
Please can anyone help?
Cheers

Unfortunately, it seems Pioneer don't make stealth head units. Also I've heard of late that Pioneer owners have been having all sorts of problems with their displays.
I've found these two that might fit into your category.

KEN-KDCPSW9524

Mask key built into detachable panel, RDS with Radio text, System Q / System E’s Light

There are a few more Kenwoods available, but I thought I'd pick the best Mask one for your budget.
If you want to go crazy (and not tell the other half) this one might just be for you...it's one of the best units out.

Alternatively if you are just after MP3 use the standard HU and plug a Dension DMP3 player into the changer input instead of the changer. 80GB of MP3's should keep you going... ;)

Thanks for the replies people!!
ICEMAN,
That's a great idea WOW!!!!
The only worry I have is that I've heard that the OEM headunit is not so great and the OEM speakers would benefit from getting a decent head unit, is this true as I like my music nice and crisp?
Cheers once again.

Pete, will this fit onto an ibiza unit??
Dension DMP3 for Seat
This version of the Dension DMP3 is compatible with the Grundig Beta and Aura head units used in the Ibiza, Cordoba, Toledo and Leon, and the Grundig Scala head unit used in the Alhambra and Vario.
Only one snag... the price: £449.99 including VAT at 17.5%

That's right plus £50 for the USB 2.0 adaptor which I would want.
Arse!!!

That is very true, the standard head unit in the Leons doesn't do justice to the speakers it comes with which are really good.

Yes it works in the Ibiza... WOrked a treat in Lee's when I tried it :D
It's not cheap no, but then it's 80gb worth of MP3's in the car... And it's removable so you can use it in the house ;)
The Leon HU isn't the best no, but if you are happy with the sound now then there's no reason to change it if all you need is MP3.

Thanks again for the replies peeps!!
I will have to wait now until I get the car!! :D and then see how what it's like.
Still I'm very swayed towards the Denison though.
Could do with another 80gig to add to my 160gig already. :D
Cheers

Do it, it is very very good! Had mine about a year now:D
Only drawback may be no internal amps, so you wouldn't hear anything! Hooked up to my 2 JL Audio anps though....
