So hear it is the long awaited tdi dump valve!!!!
http://www.motorsport-developments.co.uk/
You'll find it in the what's new section.

does it work ?
or does it lose you power ?
I think a tdi dump valve is a wait a see thingy.
I've got one on my 306 TD,
it takes the vaccuum from the brake servo via an air solenoid/valve thats connected to a micro switch on the throttle. Therefore when the throttle is closed the air solenoid/valve opens up and creates a vaccuum that opens the dump valve and there you go! Works perfectly without fail and as its electronically controlled due to the micro switch i've got a switch on mine so that i can turn it off as i please. As my TD runs at 20 psi and its fairly loud but unfortunately there are no peroformance gains as TD's dont produce reverse pressure/negative boost when the throttle is closed and therefore its for the noise only.
Just read the motorsport developments page, there are not any performance gains that i'm aware of from the dump valve and those of you who know how diesel engines work will realise this (no turbo stall on diesels)
I bought my kit as parts and it cost me just over £100 as theres virtually nothin to it. The only expensive bit being the actual dump valve.
look here, its not mine but its very similar:

 god knows why u would want that, spend the money on something that increased the power rather than does something max power style and makes a sound or light and doesnt make ur car go or handle better.
As grant mentioned, diesels dont need dump valves, another reason why us diesel heads have better cars than the petrols he he!

Got to agree with Stew on this one; seems like a waste of £100 to me...next we'll be discussing blue LED washer jets :(

Oh I think you’ve got me wrong
I don’t want to use one, as with your views I cant see any benefits from using such a device on a diesel.
I could imagine that there would not be much in the noise department as there don’t run very high pressure and cant see them adding any performance to the engine.
The question has been asked time and time again can dump valves be fitted to diesels and the answer is now yes.
true the answer is yes, but only if u have no sense i guess! ;)
no offence intended RedIbiza.
