Does anyone do a replacement mainfold for a 97 2.016V Cupra?? And has anyone experienced any nice performance gains using one? Also, will I just need the exhaust manifold or is there any other bits required?? I.E a flexy pipe??
Cheers

gerry, super sprint do loads if you drive a left hooker ,tsr told me today no chance !!! so the only people i can think off are powerflow and i think brendy "the moderater" was toying with them ,what pisses me off is that supersprint do two for my 1.816v ,two for the cupra sport ,one of which is rally spec and they are ALL for johnny foreigner ......that stinks and i got one of there de cats and centre sections got half a mind to take em off in protest:mad: :p:mad:

i think the size of the exhaust outlets are different mate!! dont quote me on theat, also watch this space after chrimbo for an update on the manifold!!
btw, didnt you know, if you want anything for a 16v engine, tyou gotta pay double compared to a 8v!! bugger!!:(
The 2.0 8V manifold is different to the 2.0 16V one. Again supersprint do one for both, but they need modifying to fit a right hand drive car.
john how much modification would be needed? surely if we got enough of us together and showed s/sprint that there is a fair mkt here they might start knocking them out espesically with the turbo in such abundance over here too:cheers:
The turbo one isnt a problem, as that will fit right hand drive cars anyway, but the steering rack gets in the way of the 1.8/2.0 16v and 8V downpipes on RHD cars.
I approached them about this late last year, but the answer I got was they would need to sell at least 250 of each one, and would I gaurantee that??? I had to say no
see your point john ,i had same answer from abc about rear lenses they needed 1500 units to break even but i've got a way round the rear lenses ,if my idea works.........

Guys,
Will the actual 8V Manifold fit onto the 16V block, its just that a mate of mine reckons that he fit the 8V manifold to his 16V block??
