Following a conversation with Richard at Revo, I am thinking of changing my SPS2 unit for an SPS3, hoping that with a little fine adjustment of boost and timing, I can stop the hesitation that comes and goes.
What settings have you used to get good, trouble free performance?. I belive with the SPS2 98ron setting is Low Boost 9, timing 6.
Your help would be appresiated.
Cheers

I'd been using high boost 8 and timing 6 (using optimax) for ages, but at the trackday at castle coombe, I turned it down to high boost 2 coz it was so hot and the car went significantly faster.
Its normally hard to judge your own car's performance, but both times i was following Dormouse in his R and first time out on high boost 8 we were dead level under power, exactly equal.
Second run, down to high boost 2, and i was a bit quicker in a straight line than him, not hugely but it was definately noticeable.
Moral of the story: less is sometime more ;)

I am thinking that because the Revo software is common to all vehicles, and not every vehicle is the exactly the same, a slight tweeking of the boost/timing may resolve this problem.
Otherwise I am 95% happy with the transformation.

A mate of mine had hesitation at between 3and 4K. We changed coil packs, plugs, dv,n75 and no joy. Played with boost and timing setings, and less boost and less timing made the problem less obvious, but didn't sort it.
The problem got worse, vag commed it and loads of error codes had appeared.
Dealer changed temp sensor and found 'a loose wire in the loom'. Cars fine now. I've read a bit on vortex about coolent temp sensors causing problems with hesitency, so may be worth a look.

Hi GolfTTish
Thanks for the advise, I think I will speak to my dealer, I have a very good relationship with them, and they know what I have had done, so I will get them to check the car out on there machine and see what comes up.

Had the same problem with my Cupra and APR software.
All went away when I changed the air filter.
