Hello Everyone,

Has anyone managed to fit 6x9 speakers into the back of a cordoba? Yesterday i was told that it was impossible! I do not believe that, i had a look myself and i think it can be done with some risers perhaps, but i thought i'd see if anyone else knows anything about it or has advice. I was told the pillars get in the way, but from what i could see its just the depth between the parcel shelf and the framework which is the issue. But like i say, i'm not sure. I'm going to stick a sub in (the front is all done already) and that should be ok, but i've already got the 6x9's and i'd hate to have them sitting around doing nothing.

Apologies if this has been posted before, i'm new here.

If you put big enough spacers behind them they would fit... But they would look out of place...

I'd leave them out and remove the standard speakers from behind the grilles... There's a lot of metal for the bass to get into the cabin through and taking the rears out gives somewhere for the air to pass through. That's what I did in mine anyway...

Oh and a quick tip... Buy some foam and glue it to the bottom of the parcel shelf to pad the gap between shelf and metal... It makes a huge difference to the number of rattles you have... ;)
