Thinking of getting an old model Toledo TDI to run around in and save the Cordy from further parking mayhem.

Anyone got one and what are their good and bad points?
Drove a basic 2003 TDI and was pleasantly surprised.
Cheers Guys

I have one and I love it. In some aspects I wouldn't want a new one either, I kind of like the old -98. I like it, it suits me. The only thing I really dislike is the hood, possibly the subtile SEAT-logo at the backdoor.
The TDI engine is a beast, I couldn't imagine it at first. My father drives a Dodge van with a V8 and he laughed when I said it was a diesel. He laughed just as much after he had testdriven my car, but he did not laugh at my car...
It's damn fast, very very cost-effective (Compared to my fathers Dodge, we can go 4-5 times as long for the same money. Compared to my -86 Opel Rekord I had previously I can go 3 times as far for the same cash in the SEAT).
I know someone at work who has one (90 TDi I think). Its for sale, but she hasn't really done anything to advertise it AFAIK. Its good condition. Do you want me to find out?

Thanks Andy, but not at the moment.
The original post was back in July last year.
I'm leaning more towards another Cordy or Ibiza at the moment - so I can swap parts over.
Cheers,
Chris
