Knocking! Mk1 cupra

hi all,

Wondering if any1 will no this answer to this coz puzzling me to hell?

* When i brake hard or pretty hard i get a knock!

* When i turn a corner hard or pretty hard i get a knock!

the knock sounds like there's sumet in my boot like a socket banging aganist metal.....

ive had all the boot out even spare wheel and no loose bits, I work at a garage and had all brakes
and suspension and parts checked to with no problems... Full m.o.t with no probs/suggestions.

i just can't seem to fathem where the knock coming from or what the knock is...?????

You haven't said what area the knock is coming from? How long the knocking has present, when it first started?

Is it possible someone has dropped a tool while working on your engine and its sitting on top of the plastic sump protector? First time I removed the sump protector someone had left a rag there!

Does it do it over bumps? How many miles has the car done? Hvae you had the car jacked up and had a good tug of the wheels, also how are the condition of the rear beam bushes?
