i have currently got no aerial on my ibiza. as i have had the wing smoother and sprayed.
looks loads better now. some1 suggested that i could hide it behind the bumper rather than fit it to the roof. any ideas if this will work?

Not sure about that, but you can check out the bosch (I think Hirschmann makes one as well) glass mount aerial.

A better idea is if you remove the trim on the inside of the boot. You will see a large cavity which has the plumbing and elctrics for your rear washer. There should be plenty of room to hide it in there.

Sorry mate. You'll see where it goes through from the bay by following the line. Thereafter it just runs under the carpet, under the bencg, though some holes, up the rear panel and there's a plastic tubing thing which it all feeds thru to the top of the hatch.

Can't say from experience but the aerial goes behind the roof lining normally anyway. All you are doing is adding a couple of feet and puttin git under the carpet instead. No reason why it should not be ok.

ps you could even put it behind the rear trim panel where the hydraulic c/l pump is.

You should still have the rear trim panel though. It's the one that overlaps from boot area to rear bench/rear window.
