Not for my Coop but for my saxo. Fitted a sub not long ago but the vibration rattling coming from the boot lid is driving me mad. Only part of the car to do this. I know you can buy Sound deadening stuff (excuse my english) but its quite costly.

Sooo as part of this months Blue Peter D.I.Y I was thinking about a visit to B&Q to buy some roof insulation. You know the stuff you handle with gloves on!! Would this do the job??

all sound deadening is a layer of roof tar so you can use that, or just buy a cheaper version not dynemat

Sorry guys but I've used all the different types and from now on will only use Dynamat Xtreme... Flashing Tape might LOOK the same but it's no where near as good...

Flashing tape will do a similar job but it's not the same at all...

You're fighting a losing battle against rattles in a Saxo :p

Here's what I did in mine and it was a LOT better:

Dynamatted doors, floor
Stuffled taigate with bubble wrap and used sticky pads for number plate as opposed to screws.

Go round the car and make sure everything is screwed in tight.

Nasty French build quality :(

Spray foam is very good but also very messey but it works a treat
