My Leon 1.9Tdi SE is being shipped to the UK at the moment, complete with factory Cat2 Immobiliser.
I am thinking of getting the Cobra 7908 Cat2 to Cat1 upgrade fitted by my local VISB installer.
Any thoughts on this or alternatives etc?
Cheers,
Dean.

All boils down to cost! How much is the Cobra costing you?
If you want to spend £500 can't go wrong with a Clifford really - and you get funky toys like being able to close all your windows and switch your headlights on at the touch of a button http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

Yup, the Clifford gear is very trick (if installed well) but I've been there and done that http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif.
The Cobra will give me Cat1 status for £250 all in. I've previously had Clifford but they don't do a 2 to 1 upgrade at the moment. Ok I'd have two immobilisers if I went for a full Clifford Cat1 install, but this is a diesel after all http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif. If I wasn't doing a 120 mile round trip to work every day I could have bought the Cupra Turbo instead....argh!!!
Thanks,
Dean.
