I have just sold my Leon to a guy. When he came I'd been having the flashing red light associated with the engine coolant sensor. I tried to clean the probes, but wasnt sure if it had worked. Anyway, I told him about it and what to do if it happened again, and he said fine and took the car.
This morning he has called saying the car is running rough. I have a sneaky suspicion it is the water temp sender gone bad, as I could have sworn I saw the needle fluctuate the other day but never saw it again.
So, I would like to get someone with Vag-Com to call around to his to have a lok if possible? If it turns out to be the temp sender then I wil happily get him a new one.
If anyone can help can you pm me asap please?
