I have been getting alot of requests for this and as usual they sat on the back burner until I had a completed kit to show.

Well right now the Catch can kits are about 5 weeks out as we are waiting for the silicone hoses to come in.These will be complete 1 piece silicone hoses connecting the oil filter housing to the valve cover and then from there to the catch can.

As a plus the kit will also have an adapter that will go between the oil pan & the return line to allow a complete catch can drain back.

Here is a similar kit that Javad finished up for the C4/S4 guys which will give you an idea as to what is going on.

The ultimate breather can kit for the C4 AAN S4/S6, everything needed for a clean, OEM type conversion. Our Vortex breather can is neatly installed with custom molded, 4-ply reinforced silicone hoses to pull oil and water vapor out of the crank case breather fumes, this results in greatly reduced oil sludging in the intake system.

Pooled oil in the intake tract reduced intercooler efficiency and reduces the fuel octane by allowing the motor to ingest oil. Also keeps the oil where its supposed to be, in the sump, by automatically draining back to the oil pan. Fully bolt in install, no modifications required.

Target price is 199.99US + SHIPPING.

Would love to get some preorders going on.

We will also be offering a complete stainless steel braided system with hard line 1 piece mandrel bent stainless steel lines and fittings for an additional cost.Super slick set up for someone who wants to eliminate all clamps in there engine bay.

I would be very interested if the catch can would be available in black?

Thanks,
Neil.

Just wondering how you'll make standard one-piece silicone hoses as there are so many different variations of intake kits, intercooler pipes etc.? I don't have the space for a tall slim round catch can hence my interest in the Forcefed one which will fit it just right.

Does sound very interesting though. :)

Hey Rob
does not matter how many variiations as this is a generic kit
oil filter housing ---> valve cover ----> catch can
You mount catch can within a 3 foot radius from the valve cover.Lots of room for that.

So the hoses are not shaped specifically for the can to sit in any particular location then?

well ideally the can will sit where the wire harness loom goes into the firewall. It will be the same on the RHD Seat Leon as it would be on the VW Golf/Audi TT but you can put it pretty much anywhere.

Cool. Is your can baffled though, and can they be supplied in black?

Rob this looks like exactly the same can i have.
I'm not planning on fitting mine for a while. If it is the same can I can give you my one to get painted and when your unpainted one comes from Issam you could send it on to me.
It's no bother if this seems too much hastle, just a thought.

My one is baffled. The top pipe (outlet) runs about half way into the can body and the side (inlet) is just welded onto the side of the can. so as the air flows into the can it hits the top pipe on the outside and the oil will run down it and the inside of the can, allowing the air to pass up the top pipe unoiled.

So it's not really properly baffled as such then. The Forcefed can is nice but is too expensive at £187!

No matter, my priority is getting the 70mm TB right now so I can refit the SEM, if it doesn't arrive soon I'll be selling the SEM.

What you mean by not properly baffled?

You will have your throttle body soon mate.

Meaning there are no screens/mesh/plates between the can and the outlet back to the intake. Normally it's the inlet port that is extended down into the can. I'm sure the Vortex method works, just another way of doing it, but I'd rather have some kind of filter/screen/baffle before the outlet.

I should have my SEM back today or tomorrow.

Thanks for the tip. I was researching for some tips regarding this. I am wondering on where should it be perfectly placed.

Just fill it with wire wool.

Bump for a nice product. :D

Wire wool - no way, bits come off that stuff and will enter your engine!!! You can get untreated stainless steel scouring ball things that work well - but why do that, catch cans should be baffled anyway. Ideally I'd like a baffled catch tank that has -12AN fittings and NOT have to T the block and cover fittings.

I have the Saikou Mitchi can and the baffling works very well indeed, but I'd like to see a baffled can with two -12AN inlets and a -10AN outlet. This 034 one is close-ish but needs baffling to actually work:

Ok,
I will cook something up for you.The more complex the can,the more expensive it gets though.... :(

No matter, I've ordered the above can and will add some baffling myself.
