Altea is part of the Alicante province.

Considering all the SEAT range are named after bits of spain, this isnt that strange, although the naming convention might change when/if they release the Tango and Salsa.

Cool to find out about Seat cars being named after bits of Spain.

I've been reliably informed (thanks to multimap) there are 3 towns called Leons in Spain.

And one is even in a region called Leon.

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=-650000&Y=5200000&width=500&height=300&client=public&gride=-620138&gridn=5222400&keepicon=true&coordsys=mercator&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&scale=2000000&out.x=6&out.y=8

Ahhh the wonders of multimap.

Pity there wasn't a british car called the Scunthorpe.. :)

Didnt NOVA mean "NO GO" or something in spanish... thats why it was called the corsa in the rest of europe.

thankfully, car makers make more effort into naming their cars than chocolate bar makers... like opalfruits, whatever "snickers" used to be called etc.
