Nuts - mine just spins then displays disc error :(

i do remember having bother with branded stuff, now that i think about it, its to do with the lead in i think. bit like copied cds for playstations, theres nothing at the start of the disk to start the program, or in this case music. not a very good description but it works in my warped head!!

I think it is what they refer to as "finalising" the disc.

If you use a CD-RW for the intended purpose (i.e. just add and delete files when you feel like it) the disc is never "finalised" and therefore will not work.

When you burn a CD-R, as it is a once-only thing, you "finalise" the disc. This adds the lead-in and lead-out onto the disc, and lets it play on CD players.

I think......

Nah should work - what you're referring to is multi-session. You can have multi-session on a normal CD-R - just opt to close the session but not the disc itself, and then you can add more later. You still have leadin and out on a multi-session disc.

My single-slot SEAT CD player plays the CD-RW discs fine, the changer doesn't...
