Painting engine cover etc

David I hav A Leon TDI fr 150 Washed down the engine today and had the idea of painting the enging cover with the air box and battery cover to fallow, has anyone done this ? Is it jus a matter of taping up and spraying the cover in heat restant paint?, :blink: Thanks in advance!!

hey hadnt thought of that - engine bay dressup is big business what with coloured hoses and detailing products. may be a cheap way of getting a different look, pity it wouldnt be seen often tho :)
