North East garages Seat in Newcastle: Avoid them like the plague!

Don't have time to write all the problems I have just had on a single service, but they lied to me, overcharged me and made a mess of my car all while not even doing what they were supposed to!

GET THIS!!
The salesman and I just had an argument. I said I wanted a new Ibiza Cupra R when they come out... He said SEAT have no plans to release a Cupra R Ibiza, but are releasing a Cupra 2l 16V with 125bhp. What a prick! I told him to go look at the SEAT website for the new cupra R. "It doesn't exist and will never be out, I don't care what the website says.. I should know I work for them!"

******!

Shame, you get your suspension sorted? Sounded noisy with a lot of movement even over a phone:eek:

Just to make a point, about 900 miles after a service there recently I found one of my alloys coming loose on a motorway, we couldn't fathom where the noise was coming from (suspension brakes etc) and finally figured it was the wheelnuts. Every single wheel nut on both the front wheels was loose. Fair enough I should have checked these after the service but it's quite scary to have rattling like that at high speed. Ah well, just hope they're not damaged, I like my Super T's!

Nope, NE said they were "Too busy" to look at it.

It needs new rubber top mounts, which is a pain. I got the wheels aligned by eye yesterday off the guy who fitted the suspension, but that's just a temporary measure.

The salesman offered me £2000 trade in for my almost mint car on a brand new Leon Cupra.... no prizes for guessing whether or not I took him up on that offer!

He did say that anytime I want tickets to the cupra events, then he can get me (for free) tickets to any seat event. It seems noone else up here wants em!

Top mounts are cheap try www.gsfcarparts.com or Stu at ECP. It's been listed somewhere which Golf top mounts you need.
