Thought I'd also use this section of the forum to compliment a dealer (rather than my usual rant about Wiltshire & Sons).

Having had no luck with W&S (still no return phone call after 3 weeks of trying!) I took the car to Hampton Court to try and get the bonnet paintwork issue resolved. Originally spoke to Matthew on the phone but actually saw Gary. Although it had been raining and the problem was difficult to see, he took my word for it that the paintwork had gone cloudy (after W&S had tried to sort out the small dull patch) and confirmed with Seat that it could be repainted under warranty!

He'll also sort out the rear badge (W&S bodged the 'U' in rather than replacing the whole thing) and they'll also look at doing the key scratch down the passenger side - is it worth trying to get them to do it at reduced rate given the bad service I've had from W&S?

Only slightly negative comment is that I have to wait 3 weeks for the work to be done so that they can organise a courtesy car - is this usual for all dealers?

Yes that is my only complaint with Spur at Hampton Court in that you have to book weeks in advance to ensure you can get the car serviced when you want AND get a courtesy car. No other complaints though.
