Cupra Front Bumper black trim

David,

Been checking out various photos (including yours) of Fr front bumpers coloured black in the centre section above and below the lower grill.

Is the Cupra black bits a plastic insert or stick on bit available seperately as I want to do this mod but am worried about stone chips revealing my red paint underneath.

Hows yours holding out on that front by the way?

FR and Cupra bumpers are identical, just painted different. I have a few stonechips but the black area has got away unscathed so far. I suppose it depends on the prep, how well the black paint takes over the base colour. You could do a temporary job using black vinyl (B+Q roll £5 - bargain!) and see how it goes. I love the way it makes the front of the car look so much more aggressive (imo obviously lol)
If you are painting, just make sure you go right back underneath or else you will still have a visible red section
