Grab Handle

Just a quick question.

The damping mechanism on my passenger grab handle stopped working the other day.
Dealer replaced it under warranty but now the handle (when released) just hits the roof. i.e no damping mechanism at all.
Their reply was that SEAT often change design and this is the correct part. Are they talking rubbish as I think or has the damped grab handle indeed been discontinued?

Im my opinion mate i reckon they should replace like for like, take iit back and if they dont fix it properly, get the old one back and go else where !!
