Daughters LC threw up EM light today.

Vag-Com gave 2 faults

1.Pressure drop between turbo and throttle body.

2.Fuel trim bank1 system too lean.

Would this suggest a split hose somewhere?

Can anyone offer any help on this?

Another thought on this could it be a faulty DV.

The problem could well be a split hose or leaky DV. However, if you can't find any problems there, it could be the MAF sensor.

If the MAF is reading air flow incorrectly, the ECU could be requesting an incorrect fuel volume and that would cause the "Fuel trim bank1 system too lean" error.

Give the MAF a clean if you can't find any split hoses. You could swap the DV over with yours for a drive and see if that helps too.

Hi Keith,

I'm sure a had the 'Fuel trim bank1 system too lean' error when I had THIS (http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=131267) pipe split on the inside of one of the bends. I know your talking about an LC not and LCR but I geuss it has a similar pipe. If it is this or a similar pipe give me a shout as I have plenty of spare hose left (had to buy 3m if it but needed less then 20cm!

I didn't get the other error so this could be a complete red herring!

Yes Keith, I'd go for a boost/vac leak.
