View Full Version : Has anyone fitted Ecotek to their 2.3 v5?
Has anyone tried fitting the Ecotek system to improve fuel consumption on their 2.3 v5?
Is there other method to tweak fuel use improvements( I know careful with the right boot!)
a cork under the pedal would work better
ecotek (in my experience) only worked on bodging the emissions
regular servicing & lots of new air filters

i had one on my 16v and it did nothing but make the car sound silly on liftoff. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE went the cordy!! :(
Sounds like I should stay clear unless anyone has had positive feedback?
placebo effect for anyone that says they work normally

one of those things that i reckon some people will drive easier subconsciously and thinking that they have proof that they work.
