just weighing up my options, not sure if 50mm will be too low.

What are the differences between the Koni 35mm Kit and the Kw 40mm kit. I appreciate that Kw are a good name but are they worth the extra £120?

Also, i've been reading up on this and trying to get pics but just cant find any. With an LCR in theory i know you are supposed to get 20mm less drop than stated with the kit, is this the case do you know or is realistically more like 15mm & under, I know i'm quibling over a few mm here but believe me, around here that really can make all the difference.

Thanks ;)

EDIT: can you also send me your best price on these two kits delivered as well please.

In past experience we've found thet the LCR is 20mm lower then the standard Leon.

The KW kits are a lot better then the Koni in terms of build quality and also ride quality and in my opinion worth the extra £120.

Hope this helps.

Bear in mind that you may need to have the bushes changed. I just paid £230 for new suspension bushes all round and the fitting on wednesday is likely to cost around £300.

You may not have to depending on if you're bushes are worn or not.

say then that the weitecs lower my car 30mm ie lcr, am i definately going to need anything at the same time or in other words must have like with a bog standard leon or could i use them and theory they should be ok but this will eventually speed up the wear and tear process of other suspension/steering parts etc if that makes sense.

As long as our standard bushes aren't worn then you should be ok. You may need to change them down the line but it shouldn't really be any sooner as long as you get the kit fitted correctley and get the alignment and camber done after.

I'd have thought top mounts would be advisable if nothing else?

I'd have thought top mounts would be advisable if nothing else?

They are but again it would depend how many miles they'd done and how worn they were.
