I might pop along just for a nose if the weather is good.
Wouldn't mine seeing some of the newer VAG metal on the rollers.

Agreed, it was a good morning. JKM got through all the cars very efficiently. I was tempted to run after seeing some of the golfs on the rollers, but resisted!

Good pics, looks like a interesting day, ill be over soon to stick the LCR on the Rollers. ;)

The RR graphs for the LCR's look as though they are stock even though is says REVO Stage 2 as there mods.

Mine was down on power and torque. Not sure why. See previous RR day last year for proper graph.
The other LCR was not boosting properly either.

You might be surprised when you put yours on their RR too.

the yellow a3 on IHI was low @ 280bhp was'nt it?

Jeez, the LCR's were running a bit on the conservative side.

Very nicely specced cars too. What's going on there then, as all other seemed pretty much as you'd expect.

LCR's and DD rollers in shoot out mode always seem the same results.

At the last one mine got an amazing 230bhp, lol

When I had my LCR put to stage 2, with full Milltek (100 cell race cats etc.), Forge FMIC, de-restricted charge pipe, Samco TIP, Iridium plugs, Forge DV, 4 bar FPR, SEAT Sport air intake with 80mm ducting direct to Dynatwist filter, put on the rollers I got about 233bhp!

Never had it rollered after that, but when I picked up my new S3 with 261bhp, the LCR was quicker than it, no question. I just don't get it.

you are comparing power to weight tho in LCR vs S3... S3 would need a lot more power to "feel" quicker

Very fair point. I had the S3 remapped on day 2 of ownership (at 198 miles) as it felt like a step backwards in some respects. I've just ordered the High pressure fuel pump to try and get it to about 350bhp (with map / exhaust / intake etc..) so hopefully with the weight / transmission loss it should restore the status quo.

My completely standard LCR (225) made 210 on JKM's rollers. Then 245 mapped to revo stage 1. So a 35bhp increase - which would have taken it to approx 260bhp had I seen 225 in standard guise I guess, which is what Revo quote.
I got 10bhp more and an earlier/flatter torque curve with stage II. I was hoping to see 260 at the rolling road so was disappointed with 245, but it drives well and no error codes I can find on Vag com.

Mine drives perfectly on the road and feels really strong through the gears, it's just dissapointing when you put alot of money into a car and don't get the figure you're supposed to or even close to it.
My car was only boosting to 15psi on the rollers Jim said but it hits 22psi on the road so that must be where to bhp goes when on the rollers.

Makes me wonder how stage 2 is set up if the car does not boost properly on the rollers...

Yeah I wondered that - it does say stock IC though which I guess means single side mount

That's not HTC's car is it?

That's interesting what you say John as I was having this conversation with Jim about my car.

Mine was a bit down on torque on the day too and I wonder if it's to do with the load/ramp rate that the rollers present. I notice on the road that my car feels like it pulls much stronger up hill (and consistently hits full boost) but on the flat/downhill it can be inconsistent sometimes. Something to do with the ECU?
