cheers mate thats just the sort of info im after . you liked it then ? is it worth the money ? and also do you have enougth for a group buy as im defo up for one :)
Yes I am very pleased with the unit.
I have a few people who have said that they will be ordering their units shortly.
The group buy doesn't kick in until 5 have been ordered and then 10. Then the discount is given back to each of us.
I have not yet had anyone confirm they have placed their order. Once I have I will start a list.
If you are interested e-mail me for details of the contact at origin. Please include your forum name in the e-mail.

Personally I opted for the Road Angel. After much research I chose it for one main reason. I travel to a few football matches during the season, the people that go share the lifts. The RA has been professionally fitted to my Cupra but I can still take the unit out in seconds and plug it straight into the cig lighter in another car and away you go.
I've just come back from holiday where we took someone elses car. Plonked it on the dash and worked a treat.
After deciding to buy I also found a place selling new units with the laser detector for £315 which is a bargain. The O2 is excellent kit and has more features but not the main feature I wanted which is fast portability between cars.
If you don't need this feature the o2 looks like an awesome bit of kit :)

Thing about these is - laser detectors arent worth it, once its said your being done, thats it, tickets in the post!! There is no prior warning with a laser gun unlike with the radar based systems.
I'm still looking about, for what its worth i am considering a PDA witha Tom tom add on sat nav system and downloading the fixed and popular camera positions onto it - no detection for mobile units but it does cover all fixed ones and gives directions too :)

I think you will find that most people who have bought the Road Angel and O2 really buy them for the GPS unit, and not the laser detector part. I saw it as a bonus as it was in the box and have had it installed but realise it ain't gonna save a ticket if hit straight on.
The database is also important. Blackspots database is very comprehensive and updated regularly. On a recent motorway trip it alerted to 2 temporary cameras in roadworks. Thats what I am paying my money for :)

You can get a laser jammer for the Road Angel but unfortunately I haven't got the time to look at the moment for the model. Memory seems to think they were £300. As they're illegal I decided to pass :)
wow , i would defo have one . but not use it of course if they are againts the law ! but the one for the orrigin is only £100 so it makes it a cheaper deal with the origin
