I need help...I'm looking for a good bodyshop near windsor or slough, I'm not telling you what I did:redface: but I need some rear offside work.
I have had 1 quote from SMC (M4 J4) but it was £700 ish inc vat (that's with a 10% discount) but it is still too high a price as I don't want to do it through insurance, to save my 3 y/n/c.

PM dangel, as a mate of his owns a body shop and he said he'd show pics of my accident to his mate for an assement.

Have you tried looking in your local yellow pages?

If i can give you any advice on chosing a body shop go for a smaller one as they are generally more trustworthy and you can always get your hands round the throat of the manger if needs be.

You sure you don't want to tell us what you did.

I have tried the yellow pages but it's still a case of hit and miss as I don't know the quality of workmanship, with things like this.

I think it would be more fun if you guessed what i did,
a little helper; it also involved my girlie's BMW

Found myself a bodyshop and took the car in on saturday and a friend of mine has kindly lent me a golf GTI (E reg though) for which I am greatful, but whilst I was at the garage a guy had brought a black CTR which someone had keyed an X into the bonnet (was about a foot n a half square) and down to the metal in parts, and keyed the whole of one side (they'd pressed so hard it was dented all the way down the side) it was a horrible sight:yikes:
