Heya,
I was wondering if anyone had any more information/opinions on the Ecomotive version. I noticed a month or so back that it was listed on the Seat UK website but haven't any mention of it on here. Or have i lost all respect in one post?! lol
I know the Cupra,FR and Bocanegra versions are more wanted, just being a tight northerner the ecomotive version seemed worth checking out. Do any of you guys who work in dealerships know anything more than the info on the website? Is there really that much difference between an eco model and a normal one?
Chris.

I doubt ya'll lose respect. A SEAT is a SEAT :seatgod:
Ya might like the new 1.6 CRTDi better though. Wont be that much dearer either..
Heres a good link on the Ecomotive

Cheers for the response fella, will have a read of the link
Yeah, I like what I've read of that so far. Sitting tight at the minute, dont wanna jump too soon and end up missing out on a better spec.

Doubt the spec will change. But I did hear that theres a new 1.2CRTDi being developed. Should be much quieter and a bit more frugal. Still, I reckon the ECO is a good buy at the minute :D

We have had our first one delivered today as demo and we have sold 3 already
Ill see what its like tonight as we are having it Pdi'd tonight
Alot cheeper than the fiesta econetic and that wont half the miles the ecomotive will do!

Nice, I was just about to ask if you (or anyone else who works in a dealership) had been out in one. Looking forward to your thoughts and comparisons with other specs of it after it. :D

well as you know the ecomotive is based of a s trim level but has a/c on. It comes with a new grill which looks rather funky and a spoiler. I live 40 miles from work so at the moment my 1.9tdi is getting 58 mpg so hopefully it should get even better in this one. All the ibiza's I driven all drive the same but just different powers. Go for it :D

Cheers for the info fella, much appreciated :)
I'm definitely gonna go for it, sort out the remortgage in the next month or two then splash out on an Ibiza. Just need to suss out which spec i want, currently got an 02 1.2 clio (hand me down) so anything is an improvement on that haha. I do a shitload of driving though, done 60k in the last 2 n half years, so weighing up treating myself on a cupra with being an oldman/tight arse and playing it economical

Cupra 16k Eco 11k. Again the ecomotive is not a snail when is comes to speed, its nice car to drive. If was to to buy one I would go for 1.4 tdi eco in SC with Bluetooth, Tinted windows and armrest for long distance

Cheers fella :) Do you know the likelihood on getting finance on it? They dont have the eco in the 'current offers' but are they likely to offer a hire purchase or something similiar when i speak to them and my credit rating checks out.
Sorry for all the questions, that's the last one for now, promise.

Yea theres no offers on it at the moment buts there always low rate finance. The milage your doing I would say you would be better off doing a pcp (solutions) and then handing the car back and not have to worry about miles on the car :D
