yesterday on the way home from thruxton my car had i problem going above 125 mph . and infact i don't think it would do anymore ? neaver had this before, has has gone up to 155 a few time and will do 140 easy , but it felt like you were hitting a wall at 125 yesterday as it would not pull any harder ,and the revs were down also , could this be a maff or lambda fault ? and has anyone else had this ?

were you towing a caravan?

Headwind?????

Very odd, but if the car felt fine upto 125mph then i cant think as MAF or Lamda failure would rear its head throughout the REV range, lost power/torque with MAF and masses of black smoke and excessive exhaust "pop" if Lamda.

Any other clues

If you really drive around at 125-140 mph you are a complete prat.

thats true , but i it's not a case of i do it's a case that i could but no longer (on private roads and in germany ) looked in my exhuast pipe and it seems to be fine colour wise ! i would take the plugs out but that seems like alot of work ! is it ? oh and it only did 190 miles to 30 quid driving normal

a boost leak would be noticable earlier! and at 120+ your boost would have already started to tail off!

Has you tried going above 120mph b4 this since u finished fitting IC and adjusted actuator?
