...still haven't fixed my heated seat. Tried it this morning on the way in and it's a dead as a dodo :( Ongoing since December this one, had new elements and new switch in dash.
Not happy.

I'm assuming they've checked there's power to the switch and also power at the base of the seat?

That'd start to isolate the problem?

If not, give me a shout & I'll be sure that the faithful multimeter would have it licked in 10mins

Well the history is as follows:

Picked up car last nov, heated seats both working fine for 3-4days. Then drivers side packs in.

Marshalls take in car, elect to change the heating elements in the seat to fix. Pick up car and told the switch has gone and now on order. This takes several months to materialise.

So, goes in for switch replacement, apparently all done (along with headlamp washers but i've not tried them yet... car is clean atm ;) ). But it's not working.

Got a meter myself, but unsure of which connections to check (part. under the seat itself). Could try swapping the connections from passenger to driver to see if that powers it up ok i suppose?
