Hi,

I am after a 12" sub/amp package to replace the rubbish one I have.

What would you recommend for around £100-150? I mostly listen to rock/metal with occasional d&b.

I was looking at these...which is better? (I know nothing when it comes to ice):

Or suggestions welcome.

I already have an 8awg power cable in...what's the max power amp/sub I could get away with on this? Or should I get a bigger cable?

Cheers :)

if you listen to drum and bass/heavy metal youd be better looking at a 10", would be able to cope with the requirements of the heavy metal and keep up with the drum n bass fast beat

something like the vibe cbr10 active would be suitable at the higher end of your budget
reliability can sometimes be a question but most usually have a problem out of the box (if they have one) not 5-6 months down the line.
