been reading old posts that forge where going to make a kit for the ibiza
does anyone know any progress on this and if its still going ahead and when it will be available

I hope this happens, the std pipework is crap and the clips aren't the best either as I found out a couple of weeks back.

I know that a guy off *cough* the other side gave a full set of hoses to forge for making moulds etc. As far as I know they have never materialised though...

i think we should try and push this topic and see if we can get enough intrest so they will prodcue them?

Certainly interested if we can get a good price (I ain't paying lots for a bit of tube, but I'm willing to pay a bit for a quality rigid ply hose)

Nothing ever happened , Samco had the first kit but never got them done, Send me the OEM hoses turbo and coolant and I will get this happening

Thank you for your e-mail. Unfortunatly we are unable to assist you on this occasion as we do not produce Silicone hose kits for specific models.

sorry as well lads i can not donate my hoses to forge as losing the company car on friday morning so need the ibiza every day to travel to newcastle

Any other volunteers???? I think bill offered a set cause he aint using em now sisnce his IHI conversion and has them in the house!
A set costs around £119

I have the hoses yea... off the car as its all new stuff fitted on my these days.
I could drop them in to Forge when I get a minute..
Not too sure how long things will take tho.

How many of you ACTUALLY WANT THESE?
The Golf IV kit for example is around £113/set as a guide.
10 sets minimum qty for Forge to make them.
Roll up roll up.
Time to put up or ......................
Spread the word if you REALLY want these and get the minimum number covered.

I was going to put my name down, but the I realised that they arn't going to be any good with the IHI conversion I'm getting. :(

So 113 is a good representation of the cost on an ibiza? The gold stuff I guess is produced in more quantity so cheaper.

The price is a guide based on Golf IV Samco kit, but that kit looks to includ emore hoses... hence my post about the 4 I gave them.
As for Samco prices they are feckign expensive bits of hose...
70mm ID short 120' elbow cost £28 for example... when I bought some bits last year building induction systems up.
Confirmation is req'd yes. Now hoses are with them we can persue this.

I will find out the prices for you no problem... but I want to get them made first. When its sorted for the minimum 10 customer they need we can go further and sort prices etc...
Golf one actually lists at £125 as a 5 hose set in the Forge catalogue. I have only supplied 4 hoses, one of which is just a straight coupler anyhow.
Lets see how it goes... step at a time.

wonder will there be different colours! Cause i dont fancy blue! Maybe Red or Black! Will you be able to find out? As I need to make sure Graham @ GRS can supply the same colours with the IC too before I order it! Anytime what the turn around will be?

Oh yes, definately. Thats been my plan for well over a year now. :D
Finally had a test drive a couple of weeks ago, and put my name on the list straight away! :D Shoudl have it by the end of the year providing they can get the parts.
I'm going straight for the stage 3 kit plus chargecooler, and possibly uprated pistons and conrods, but not sure yet.
Anyway, back to the subject of Samco hoses.... ;)
Are the hoses proposed on here real Samco hoses or silicon hoses made by Forge?

Placement of a couple of the hoses will be awkward indeed on the Ibiza.

The hoses sample are at Samco , Forge will maufacture the tooling ,
Colours will be
Red
Black
Blue
Purple
Green
Yellow
Orange
When these are manufactured we will try to carry stock of the red, blue & Black hoses these are the most popular.

** UPDATE**
We have manufactured the tooling and Samco are making the first prototype set in the next 10 - 14 days they will be blue , we will then send them to Bill for his trial fitting .
More details and prices to follow :) :)
thats good news for you ibiza guys....just reminds me, you can take me off the group buy for these as i no longer have a road going ibiza!!

Is there any Samco hoses available for the Leon Cupra? I'm sure I've seen a hose for the top intercooler to intake manifold and also from the air filter to the turbo - but these may have been for the Skoda vRS, but they should be the same right?

DU02 is running them on his Leon 20Vt.
