got myself a set or Rainbow CMX 625's today, went for a trail fit only to realise there is no hope in hell of me being able to fit the tweeters in the OEM positions.
Those who have fitted comps could you please share your solutions with me.
I'm guessing you mean CMX 265's as opposed to 625's as I couldn't find any rainbows of that model name :p
Anyways... I'd imagine that your speakers would have come with different ways to mount the tweeters. Mine came with flush mount, surface mount or angle mount I think. Either way, this probably means that you can take the tweeter out the top of whichever mount your trying to use at the moment, and then you can hot glue it into place where the original tweeter was as exlained in PM. Providing you don't get glue on the dome of the tweeter it'll be fine, and the glue can just peel off if you're not happy with the way they sit. :D
