Just got my windows tinted, and the chaps who did it removed the internal SCN sticker from my rear windscreen.
So now i need a new one....will the internal one be visable through the tint ? or will i have to get the external one..which is larger and only comes in one colour!
depends how dark the tint is - try putting a piece of paper behind the glass and look through see what difference there is
large one :bordered sticker white on black. The Sticker is only available in one size (400mmx50mm) and is external only.
smaller one : 180mmx20mm is external or internal and colour choices
although email em as i have seen them do coloured and all sorts to order

its a medium tints.....anyone got a pic of the external sticker on tinted windows or normal windows, or even the internal one on tinted windows....

I have the tiny seatcupra.net sticker in red on my 2.0 Tdi(rear) with the standard sport tints(if there is such a thing) and it is visible if your close. However if your looking for it to stand out then big and white would be the way forward.

hmmm not looking for some very "look at me"...i liked how it looked before with it being visable but small enough to not be too over the top..
thinking i may get a light version of the smaller one and see how that looks

The external etched stickers look good with tints. I had some on my Leon but can't find any pics.
I have internal silver stickers with the Alteas tinted rear windows but they don't really show up too well.

Excuse the quaility of the shite work camera and the reflection off the window. But this is what it sort of looks like on mine, i would say it is visible to the naked eye from about 4-5m away

cheers for that...my tints are darker than that...so not sure if they will show through
also i think the external stickers come in one type...white with black border...also they are quite large

No, the small ones are available in a range of colours, either internal or external.

hmmmm well just been on the vinyl store website and the 180mm x 20mm is the internal one and comes in different colours...this is the internal one i presume...i fear that this will be a waste of time with my tints
then the external one....40mmx50mm is the external one and comes in only one colour option...white with black border....
would want this if it came in a different colour.

If you look on their website on the 180mm x 20mm stickers, there is a drop down menu for colour and another dropdown menu for application - Internal or external.
The large sticker, as you said, is only available in one colour and is external fit only.
