Had a Lancia Integrale Evo right up my arse last night. He was driving like a total t**t weving in and out of everyone and then drove to within about 2 inches of my back bumper. I had the wife and baby in the car and obviously ignored him but it did'nt half make my blood boil:mad: . Luckily he turned off at a roundabout.

I know they are quick cars, but does anyone have any idea just how quick 0-100? The only info I can find is a time of 16.9 for one of the quicker versions, but obviously a standard car. I know they are 4wd turbo so would be initially quicker off the line

I owned a Evo 2 'grale for 4 years, not a bad car, not in the Mitsuwishy evo 6 to 8 performance league though. it was fast enough as a road car really, and crucially at a time when everyone else had started to buy imprezza's it wasn't an imprezza!

(funny parking next to a 'prezza and watching everyone walk straight by it to stare at the old 'grale!) and i guess that just about sums it up, when parked an integrale looks special, and imprezza's etc are all one trick ponys, ie they go fast, thats it.

as things have moved on i guess it would be pretty even's between say a leon R and a std 'grale, both have 210bhp-ish, both weigh something like 1300kg. technically the 'grale should be a bit faster off the line, but in reality after you cook your first £1000 to fix clutch by trying to set dry road 0-60 records you tend to get the car rolling before booting it!
remember the "ultimate" hot hatch of the early 90's wore a set of 205 section tyres as std, wooo! (now found on 900kg of lupo gti!)

Top end not too hot even the quick ones only geared to around 135-140 so you could just keep your toe in till his aerodynamics let him down and cruise? into the sunset..(and the local clink):)
