Ill do some sums then and see whats what, counting on my mate buying old things i dont need anymore haha :P
The only thing now for the weitecs for a mk4 pd130 fr would i need shorter droplinks? in the pictures i have seen the brackets for the drop links seem to come out the up, like the standard ones. whereas on the v-maxx ones the brackets for the arb just come straight out and not up aswell, which leads me to believe standard droplinks with the weitecs will be fine? Can any body clear this up for me?
Is the deal still available on the 50mm kit for springs and shocks?
If so...I buy the 50mm kit for my Mk1 Leon Cupra - How much will this lower by?
Also will I need adjustable droplinks or not?

No it's just the coilovers.
The 50mm kit lowers the Cupra around 35mm and with it being right on the limit area you won't know weather you definately need adjustable drop links or an uprated ARB until you fit the kit and let it settle.

Im looking for a kit that would make the car handle better but also dont want too much of a harsh ride as the car is a family car.
What would you recommend? Springs & Shocks package or Coilovers?

It'll just rub slightly on full lock most likely and if it does start rubbing you'll just need to change the ARB.

Recieved coilovers yesterday dinner, so i fit them yesterday afternoon. Really nice piece of kit, cant believe how low you can go with them aswell I'll put some pics up soon. Only let down on them really is the adjuster ring, so lock it in place there is just a tiny grub screw that tightens onto the actuall thread, where as i'd prefer another adjuster nut or a locking nut to go underneath so you know it is secured. Other then that they seem spot on for the price!

Got the weitecs fitted at the weekend . Wow how did i cope before these, the car feels so much more planted and corners flat but soaks up the bumps far better than it did with the standard crashy suspension.

Ye they are fantastic! There so much better then the standard supsension which i am suprised about. Love them recommend them to anyone thats think of buying some mid range coilovers! You can go wrong with them for the price. Spot on

with the weitecs Damien what would you suggest to do to combat corrosion? is there a specific spray you can buy that protects them? Hopefully have enough on payday to order, any idea how long they would take to arrive?

Some people just clean them once a month, some people grease them up, some people spray them with WD40 and some people tape them up.
Delivery is about 1-2 weeks at the moment.

Forgot to say Damian, arrived very quickly and the tracking via ups was spot on, so thanks for all that :) the kit is awesome for the dosh, cannot grumble at one little thing, seems awesome quality and the ride comfort is on par if not better than standard, yet the handling capabilities have increased loads! Happy customer!

I thought this too but they go very low, The fronts on mine have about 40mm left or so threadwise but i cant physically lower it anymore as it rubs a tiny bit as it is and you know how high mk4's are as standard haha The rears on mine dont have the adjuster cups in and just the bolt in plates that the springs sit on, only have one pic now but will get some more this afty. Bearing in mind with the picture they have only been fitted 30 mins, so its settled lower now:

just looking at that pic again compared to now its easy settled 10-20mm at the rear and a good 10mm on the front.

I don't think so, Weitec already extended this offer so I don't think they'll do it again. The VAT also goes up on the 1st January which will bump them up a little as well.
