our alhambra tdi 110 keeps scoring its front discs, has any body else have this occurance to theres?

Yep my first set of discs scored and failed the mot test which I needed for my cab license at 42000 miles.
Got some replacements from a car acc'y shop and they have'nt scored and were only about £25 each.
IMO Seat discs are shite.
Shop was Barnet Motor Factors - tel. no 0208 449 2173, if its too far away from you he may do mail order or at least he can tell you the make of them.

We have now decided to fit EBC greenstuff pads and crossdrilled and grooved discs (combi) all round as it is going in 4 a service next week but I will be fitting them as dad wants the calipers painted red.
Although the parts will cost in the region of £200, its better than £150 that the maindealer stiched us up for just for the fronts last time, and they scored like barstard within 3 weeks.......

Well, we bought the discs at £117.50 for all four, they are zimmermann ones so its a good deall we think compared to other stuff, now to get them grooved and cross drilled......
