View Full Version : changed head unit, and wired in aerail booster, still no luck

hi guys got kit to change the head unit in my 01 toledo from ebay including fascia leads adaptor and aerial booster. i wired booster into red into harness, as power aerial blue wouldnt work, and there was no other blue. ive still got a terrible signal and when i have it wired and out of dash sitting on my knee its about 60%, as soon as i slide it into dash goes to about 20%....
any ideas............

have you checked the aerial base and also the earial cable to see whether it has any breaks and the base is bolted down tightly to a clean,rust free surface?

Dont use the cable for the power antena mate, use the other blue/white one, the one that would normaly power a amp.

how do i do that? have i got to take the headlining down inside? or where does the aerial route?
