Hello All
Just had my Leon 20VT done (98 ron optimax settings MY2002)
at Darlington.
Must say they are a friendly bunch ... had demo first for about one hour and that was enough for me to make the decision.
As my car is really only used for out of work travelling I could justify it.
There is a very noticeable power and torque increase and was quite scary for a while.The turbo is louder of course and there is a definate kick in the backside at 3000 revs and again as the vvt cuts in around 5000rvs.
I measured my average economy before and after on a 30 mile run and it remained about the same (32mpg) motorway and a little in town driving. If you boot it the consumption does go up of course.
So as previous postings ....I now need a 7th gear :D and a rear launchable parachute to slow the thing down...
