Afternoon all

Not that clued up on ICE, will be running a decent h/u, amp and sub in rear and wanting to uprate the front speakers and disconnect the rears.

The standard speakers have the tweeters in the doors, so to replace the front speakers should I simply unplug the tweeters and fit in coaxials, or are there any component kits that will be a direct replacement for the OEM parts, without cutting or messing around?

The fronts won't be amped by the way, just want to replace as they are

Thanks

none are a straight swap with the tweeters,if you want less hassle the hertz dieci range have no crossovers to install

the tweeters can be installed by removing the old and velcroing onto the metal door panel pointing in the right direction in line with the oem tweeter grills if your lazy

you will get a far better sound quality out of your system with a set of components allowing the tweeter to do its job with just the high pitch frequencies and the woofer the mid frequencies
