View Full Version : Moving cars between dealers
Graham/Daz
I wont phone you for a change as I expect you're getting fed up with me bothering you... ;)
Do dealers have the option to trade cars between themselves?
For example say a theoretical Scottish dealer has a CupraR for, oh I don't know £12995 on their forecourt with 52 miles on it, could you get it from them and sell it to someone, maybe with an X reg Silver Ibiza....all in theory of course. ;)
Cheers
Andy
i'll find out m8 , i wonder who would want us to do that then ;)
I'm pretty sure they can as I phoned Amethyst when I was buying my Ibiza and I said that I wanted a yellow one.... they said that they didn't have one but another dealer has one that they could buy off them. The next day Amethyst had my Ibiza.
So, yes, my car was originally up for sale at one dealership and then Amethyst bought it and sold it to me.

Ah, cheers Ben. I'm very tempted to go for the R if it's 12995 as someone posted here last week.
Thanks
Andy

Now that would be a whole lot of car for the money....
Good luck...

Dealers swop/buy cars from each other all the time, but this mainly applies to RRP priced cars.
