with not having a decent car for a few years, so getting out of habit of having cars serviced, took our ibiza in for 37000 service.
car purchased last Oct and before delivery garage (main dealer) put on discs all round.during course of day we received phone call to say car needed new pads all round. now i'm no mechanic, but new discs = new pads ?
service guy says it's ok to put new discs on with old pads- me don't think too clever.anybody put new pads in recently? pads plus £88 labour all plus vat doesn't sound very good to me.had to sign disclaimer on bill to say they'd told us pads were low.
to top it all, car came back from service and cam belt with dirty
front wing tops- hand and overall dirt- when g/f pointed it out she was told it would come off when car was washed!
car will NOT be going back to B*RL*WS again.
i know people will tell me all dealers are not like this, so can any one reccomend dealer (main or indie) in west midlands area?
