View Full Version : Leon Cupra Body Kits
I'm looking to buy a Leon Cupra within the month or two (waiting for the new plate http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif but I'm having trouble getting any info on Body Kits from my local dealer (Sutton Park SEAT, Maidstone, Kent).
I can pretty much guess the price (factory fitted and colour matched for around £1,500), but what I really want is to actually see pictures of it fitted to the Leon (there's only one picture in the brochure - and not in Imperial Blue metallic which is what I'm after).
I haven't decided whether or not to go for a "stealth" Leon (that looks kinda normal except for the exhaust, and probably won't get nicked) or a balls-out kitted up version.
Anyone got any opinions on the kit, its cost, and where I can see some multi-angled pictures of it? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
Cheers,
Phatt.

Thanks for that!
They're a bit "ruder" than I was expecting. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
Have you had any kit fitted (I'm assuming you have a Leon)?

Word of advice.. You say you are waiting until September before getting your Leon so you get a new style reg plate.
Order it now! It takes 10 - 12 weeks to get a brand new one from the factory, so save yourself another 3 - 4 weeks by ordering now. I ordered mine at the end of May, and am still waiting!

Potentially 12 weeks?!
This is a Seat, not a Subaru!!!!!! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif
Cheers for the heads-up, I'd best go and have a word with my dealer (the Seat one, not the other kind - although..... http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif ).

12 weeks is right...even imports only take 12-16 weeks too...it's just SEAT UK are shite, in fact they all go thru' on the same production run anyway, regardless of where they are ordered from...

Paul,
I was speaking to a dealership in Maidstone, and they reckoned that sometimes there's already a car with the spec you want in a nearby garage, so they move it where it's needed. You may have got lucky?
I'm still gonna order mine from Maidstone, as they're doing a good deal on price, and I'd rather buy it where I intend to have it serviced.
Cheers for the info, though. Lucky b*stard! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
Any chance of some pictures? Literature and pics on the factory fitted body kit is a little hard to come by! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
