Had a quick drive of the Leon 130TDi coutesy of Great Covert SEAT.

Generally a very nice car. Could do with better brakes (but I'm used to brembos') and a bit of road noise.

Engine was responsive and smooth and cruised to a 'interesting speed' nicely and held it without effort. Radio seems to be very good for a stock one.

Handling was relaxed and responsive too.

A definate consideration for those who do a lot of motorway miles or like a bit of poke with economy (a good familiy / work communting car)....damn....'ill try not to mention caravans'....DOH! :p

Before choosing the Leon Cupra, I drove the Golf Tdi150 (badged a GTi). That was seriously fast from 1750 rpm upwards to the 5000 red line. So I guess the Leon 130 will be very quick too.

What insurance group is it ?
