Ayup,

Basically, I have a PD130 Ibiza running a Stage 2 MD376 hybrid from TD.
Currently RR'd at 230bhp and 385ft/lbs.

Ive heard that you guys can supply a different turbo to this which would be capable of flowing enough for 300bhp. Im aware that new injectors/nozzles will be required, but wondering what sort of cost I would be looking at, and a rough spec of the turbo.

Cheers,

Tom.

It's not a cheap upgrade unfortunately.

We utilize one of our own cast 8v manifolds, suited up to a water cooled GT25V turbocharger with custom oil and water feed and returns and a custom down pipe.

You'll need a HUGE intercooler, items like forge etc just aren't suited to the job unfortunately.

This can support 260bhp on standard injectors and engine internals. We have now got a flowed head ready to bolt up to our development engine but i should imagine with a flowed head, cam and nozzles you'd indeed see 300bhp.

Thanks
Kevin

Knew it wasnt going to be cheap.

So any rough estimate on price then as im still interested.

Guessing the SEAT Sport cooler isnt going to be big enough?

Would you be able to keep me updated on development please?

You're looking at around 6-7k, basically we need to take the current kit off and start again really.

That's for around 260bhp, limited slip diff, SMF & Clutch, intercooler, exhaust etc.

If you wanted to get closer to 300bhp it'd need the head flowing which is around about a 2k job because everything are single use bolts, labour etc.

Thanks
Kev

If you were looking for an upgrade in the meantime, the ported/flowed head will give you around 245-250bhp on your current setup...

About time somebody brought out a kit with a proper sized turbo other then reworking the stock unit.

Cheers dude :)

How's your methanol system anyways?

Darren, yes, a brake upgrade would be advisable :)
