View Full Version : Polyurethane suspension bushes, Mmmm!
Reading this makes me want to change all my bushes straight away!!,
Does anyone think they can be as good as they claim they are?,
Has anyone already fitted them tothe Leon?, if so, how difficult are they to fit, it says no special tools are needed!, maybe amethyst can supply and fit these on a service?, if so can someone (Flapper!!!:D ) quote a price for doing this?, I'm sure there would be quite a bit of interest from people on here for them!

I run poly bushes in my old Jetta and it tightened it all up very well. They do not last for ever though, and mine need replacing on the wishbones really. They have done 3 years worth of track days etc, so I am not dissapointed. Only cost me £25 3 years ago for fronts.
Rears are inserts into the beam factory bushes, which I replaced with new factory bushes at the same time. they are still fine.

hey, you know what? I really don't know...
Proves I don't know everything :D lol
The bonrath ones are solid polyurethane are'nt they? I have heard people take them back off again as they are too harsh.
I run VR6 top mounts in my MK2 jetta, with Mk3/Passat top spring platforms (giving away my secrets here), as the VR6 top mounts have a better construction and a larger "real" bearing.
I did'nt notice my Ibiza's front topmounts when I had the PSS9's fitted. Should have been more observant. :(
