Can it get to the point where you have too much wax on your car and that you can't apply anymore?
Few months back i gave my car 2 coatings of Zymol Cleaner wax which made it look great. Then every wash after that i've ysed Turttle wax wash and wax to keep it clean and theoretically layer the car wish even more wax for protection.
Over the weekend i decided to to another Zymol treatment in time for the winter but discovered that the Zymol just wouldn't take.
Now i was hoping that by using a jet washer it would dislodge any wax left on and give me a clear surfance on which to wax. Well it seems that it didn't.
So have i over waxed it?
It's not really a massive problem as having used the Zymol car shampoo it looks as though it was just waxed anyway.
Also what do people use to get rid of bugs and tar and stuff from the front of the car? I was thinking og picking up the halfords spray on stuff.
One more, does anybody have experience with Turtle wax or halfords coloured polishes for treating minor scratches.
Cheers
