Got some money burning a hole in my pocket and demanding to be spent on my car.

Should I go for a Dynatwist from Bill or get a samco/ABD turbo inlet pipe and lower intercooler pipe? They come to roughly the same amount so which do you think I should go for?

Or......should i put the money towards getting a milltek cat back system?

Opinions please (with reasons).

Having got all of the things you mention, except the lower intercooler pipe.. I'd go for the Dynatwist. Its the only part that will make a noticable difference on its own. And it makes a lovely noise:D

i want to go for both... i'm a bit nervous about the filter though after all the oil contamination horror stories... i realise other things cause oil contamination.
i think it's a very obvious mod too. doesn't take a genius to spot it's not the standard filter.

as for the tip, it's quite hard to spot except for maybe the blue samco one! thats why i want a black one.

RSD recommend changing the exhaust and the tip as the next upgrade after chipping

i'm getting my milltek catback on tuesday!!! i'll let u know what it's like :D

Have you found anywhere that has the black ones in stock ?

Awesome GTi seem to be waiting for another 9 - 10 weeks for them to arrive :(

Let me put it this way...
Green catalogue says many contradictory things..... and amongst them is power rating for products...

eg.. They do indeed say rated 250bhp max for the XL Dynatwist. They also say Twister is not suitable for turbo cars???? which is the filter in their Dynatwist kits for turbo cars? DUH!

Its just they got it wrong.
Panel filter area vs Dynatwist is night and day larger n the dynatwist.

Consider your panel filter on a Leon R is the same as a TDi one or 20Vt one... or Golf one or Octavia one etc....

Dynatwist will work well on R's as it does on other 20VT motors.
If a chipped 20VT gains 7bhp & 13lb/ft torque whilst sharing an airbox with an R, think about what gains an R might make also.

Dont think you gotta worry bout oil contamination with these filters as bill has proberly sold in excess of 50 if not 100 with no to my knowledge contamination issues. I myself have had hurrican and dynatwist from bill and covered nearly 20k miles trouble free!

It would be nice to go for both the tip and induction kit as they would compliment each other!
