Hi all, me again!

just want that nice induction sound for not much money without compromising the engine :-)

Upsolute are available from Impossible Performance.

just got this via email, roll on pay day!!
The Upgrade takes approx. 4-5 hours, depending on what model ECU you have...
We are based in Rochester Kent(A2), not to far from you
Cost is 295.00 all in, you will need to booking a date (2 days notice if
possible). Either by e-mail or phone.
cars gonna rip! cant wait!
we r on the A28 going towards canterbury on the right (we r ur local seat dealer)
just out of interest did they service ur car b4 u brought it coz i just supplied them a full service kit for a yella x plate beeza turbo.
induction kit wise im after £40 for it coz it's only 2 weeks old. im sellin it coz im not very impressed with it, so the choice is yours.

It was you that held up the delivery of my beeza then?!?!
took about 3 days to get the service kit!!
think ill pass on the induction kit if you think its a pile of crap!!
have you managed to find a good one then? i want a bit more noise from the bonnet!
out of interest whats the price of a CD changer for my car? as you know the tape player sucks and obviously i cant change the head unit :-(
more like it took them 3 days 2 pick it up (all parts in stock n ready 2 go when they phoned) must b a vauxhall thing:D :D
if u want a cd player come n c me and i can work u out a deal.
they retail at £350 book price (how much!!) but i can easy beat that.
as for the induction kit dont worry the piece of crap can go in the bin.
The Blitz induction kit looks good to me.... stainless steel mesh cone... lets more air through than a foam/paper induction kit but still stops particles as small as 0.2 microns (something like that.)!
Apparently makes the car sound alot more meaty, and makes a whoosh sound like an atmospheric dump valve during gear changes. :)
Also, it doesn't need oiling.
If you get one then be sure to get a splash plate made up coz Seat in their wisdom put a water channel next to the air filter and with an induction kit there is danger of sucking water in!!!

Bloody hell John id thought you'd fallen off the face of the earth!!
no i havent had any mails from you for AAAAGGGES!!!
Give me 5 minutes to find it, and I will re-send it.
woody sorry to ruin ur day m8. 99> beeza speaker grilles r part of the door panel, not seperate even though they look it. (dont ask why, i've asked seat this and they couldn't tell me why!!)
as for the induction kit i've been speakin 2 me old m8 john b @sjb sport (very helpful man) about induction kits. still an ongoin debate about em but he hasn't had any probs with them as long as u use little oil (and he sells loads of em) so im gonna try it again with very very little or no oil and c how i go.
im also gonna try n clean the old air mass sensor up n c if i can get it workin again (it'd b nice 2 have a spare 1 just incase:) )
keep u posted

Saw your mail about using very little or no oil on the filter.... You should be very careful about getting the amount of oil right as if you dont have enough it would arguably be worse for your engine as the filter wouldnt remove all of the grit/dust from the air which would lead to big problems in the long term! This is because the oil is necessay to filter out the very small particles in the air, without it they can easily pass through the dry foam.
Just something for you to watch out for.

doh!! looks like im fecked!!
thing is ive got little 'Kenwood' badges on mine and they pop off from the front (ive stuck some nice pioneers in there :-) )
one of the has a bit missing, perhaps some bird put a stiletto through it!?!?!? v strange!!
i really would like some kind of induction kit, i owned a 92 mini cooper before my beeza i took the filter completely off and the damn thing would do 110MPH!!!! sounded really sweet too!
beeza doesnt exacltly sound as mean as it really is! - still not been outrun yet! as soon as i do im off for an ECU upgrade!
cheers for your help m8
Carl, I have re-sent the e-mail to you. I am at Autosport most of the day tomorrow, but will be on my mobile if I can get a signal.
