I have a problem with the n/s door mirror on my 2.0tdi sport
When i put the mirrors to retract they both come in and when they hit the in position the n/s motor does not cut out you can still hear it whirring away even when the key is out of the ignition
It takes a few attempts to get them to return to the out position, when they do, they stop in the correct position. and the motors stop.
Is this a common fault? Or could it just be something simple like a relay?
I don't want to spend silly money to fix this problem, as i don't use the retract function enough to warrant spending a lot on fixing it
There is no problem adjusting the mirrors that's fine, its only the retract mode that's at fault
