I have a 2001 model Alhambra and suffer real bad with cold feet in the foot well. The climate control on auto never keeps my feet warm, only when I put it on manual does it sort the problem out. Anyone else had this problem.

On another note I am having problems with the electrics, now I first thought it was all the Laser jammers, radar detectors GPS systems and other gadgets I test causing a problem with my battery going dead.
Some of the symptons are when the engine is ticking over, TDI, 115ps the lights flicker. Sometimes just leaving it over night the battery dies. One time just having the radio on while washing the dam thing the battery went dead in half an hour..

All the obvious has been checked according to the dealer.

If anyone has some other ideas I like to hear from you.
Thanks

mmm as to the climate control , it may need the flaps realigned (no puns please,im thinkin em already:D )

get a torch and have a nose down the back of the drivers headlamp , as we have had 2 in now with an unfitted earth down there , other wise its multimeter time and start un plugging :(

Thanks Flapper

I have just checked the earth, no problem there. Its only now and then the lights flicker and only on sidelights, so i done a loosen and clean an tighten just in case. Its more the problem of the battery dieing is s short space of time thats more the problem.

When I do get the problem the battery won't even charge, so I use jump leads or a portable cold start unit, then I go fo a drive to charge it.

I wondering if I have sedement in the battery causing a short, I know its not an old battery but you never know. Seems odd that it wont charge standing yet when I go for a drive it does.. sedement moving - no short = charge... I thinking more like X files myself...

I get the dealer to look at the vents.

Sussed the battery problem, turns out to be the Fan Relay that was faulty, it powered up the fans during the night and that caused the flat battery.

The dealer told me the day before I took mine in they had another Alhambra do this as well.

Thanks for the mails of help guys...
